Welcome to the Woohoo Crew!
Our volunteers are a vital part of the Perth Trail Series team. They bring the “woohoo” and high fives that make our events so special. The PTS Crew makes these races possible, ensuring they’re fun, safe, and well-organized. Joining the Woohoo Crew lets you dive into our community without having to run. You’ll be showered with trail love, woohoos, and high fives!
Why Join the PTS Crew?

- Get a feel for what PTS is all about.
- Stay involved if you’re injured and can’t run.
- Friends, family, or partners can join in on the fun by helping out.
- Enjoy coffee at events, primo parking, and discounts on future races.
What Roles Will You Have?
You’ll get to do a variety of things, like:
Pre-Running the Course: Trot the trail before the event, checking course markers.
Sweeping: Follow the last runners, ensuring everyone finishes safely.
Course Marshal: Direct runners and cheer them on.
Parking: Guide cars into spaces and sometimes manage entry gates.
Bib Collection: Greet runners, check them in, and hand out bibs.
Aid Stations: Help runners refuel with food and drinks along the course.
Timing: Cheer as runners cross the finish line and record their times.
Trail Maintenance: Give back by tidying up trails with secateurs.
