WINTER SERIES Event – TRUTH OR CONSEQUENCES
Sponsored by Serpentine Jarrahdale Shire
Join us in the historic trail town of Jarrahdale! We’ve got the Double Black Ultra Marathon. If you’re up for the Ultra Challenge, DO IT!!! It’s the best course to give your furthest a go! And equally inviting if you’ve had your friends and families spectate all Winter. This is a great one to really encourage them to try out the Green or Blue course this time!
We’ve also got some opportunities to spend a few hours out there today, which is fantastic for your support crew! They can check out this quaint town, and go on some walk trails themselves!
Which ones for me? This event includes 4 distance options: Green, Blue, Black, Double Black
Green Course – Walk or Run, All about Fun! Distances range from ~4km-6km and usually take up to 75 minutes to complete. A great option if you’re just getting into the trails/running, or coming back after injury/break. Get a mate, get into these and get ready for FUN!
Blue Course – You love running and your friends think you’re fit! You can comfortably run 10km in the city. Distances range from ~9km-14km and for most runners it’s ~90min+ time on trail. If you’re currently active and looking for a good time mixed with a bit of challenge, get a mate and do this together!
Black Course – For the experienced runners! Distances range from ~15km-25km These challenges can take a few hours! And training is key. You’ve gotta get in the training to enjoy these, so get your training mate and have some friendly accountability competition!
Double Black Course – For the very experienced runners looking for the ultimate challenge! Distances range from ~30km-100km These feats can take all day! And training is key. You’ve gotta train to complete these, so get your training mate and a program because you’ll need it!
We provide course markings the whole way to help you stay on track! Flagging tape in trees and arrows guide you around the course so you can focus on your fitness and capturing the stunning scenery. We’ve got assistants at key intersections giving out truckloads of encouragement with high 5’s and Woohoo’s!!!
All courses see you starting and finishing at the same location. When you arrive at the finish (feeling like a champion), you’ll receive a hero’s welcome. You’re cheered in with funky entertainment, food trucks an awesome medal hung around your neck.

Course Info
The final event in the series takes us into the historical trail town of Jarrahdale and it’s the one we’ve been building up to with our Double Black Ultra Marathon! You’ll pass flowing waterfalls, log jumps, and stunning forest making you feel like you’re hours away from Perth.
The Double Black course provides the most challenge, with the Black course following close behind! The Blue course will still test your limits, and the Green is best for beginners with less technical trail.
Double Black runners please note – you must be commencing your second lap within 4 hours of starting the Ultra Marathon, or you will be dropped down to the Black Course Half Marathon. The 4 hour time will be strictly enforced on event day.
We’ve got a professional team that works around the clock to make this the best way to get on the trails!
Not only that, but we’ve got an awesome community that make our events so special.
Make this your next fitness thing. Trails are fun and open to everyone with options to choose from. We colour code our courses, because no matter the distance it’s all a challenge!
And don’t worry, we care about your safety! We put flagging tape in trees, and arrows guide you around the course so you can focus on your fitness and capturing the stunning scenery. We’ve got assistants at key intersections to help you stay on track giving out high 5’s and Woohoo’s as encouragement! And we’ve got a professional aid team on standby if anything were to happen.
And when you arrive at the finish (like a champion), you’ll be cheered in with funky entertainment, someone will hang an awesome medal around your neck!
